For instance, recent data from showed that last year, consumers in California bought 12 percent more cannabis via delivery on Christmas Eve than on a typical Monday of that year. Furthermore, New Year’s Eve saw a 32 percent increase in deliveries, when compared to a regular Monday.

Another big holiday for cannabis is Thanksgiving, with data indicating sales spikes both on the day before and the day after the festivity. According to Headset, the Friday after Thanksgiving witnessed a 21-percent surge in sales, when compared to a typical Friday. For its part, Eaze said deliveries made by its retail partners increased by 136-percent on the Wednesday before Turkey Day.
